Farm Club
This year, we are offering a Farm Club membership, which is a work-trade arrangement: individuals who sign up for Farm Club must commit to working a minimum of two hours per week at our farm (harvesting, weeding, transplanting, customer service, etc), in exchange for a Food Club or Flower Club share OR the spending equivalent in our farm store.
We have had a lot of people ask us about volunteering opportunities at our farm, wanting to learn skills or get their hands dirty, and Farm Club will allow them to do just that. The hours and tasks will be flexible, but we would prefer Farm Club members to commit for the growing season (May through October) so our community becomes autonomous. There will be the option to choose the same job week over week to build skills and independence.
Farm Club members will have access to an online spreadsheet where they can sign up for tasks ahead of time, and indicate the two-hour block of time they will work for. The days and times most needed will be Tuesday day and evening, Wednesday day and evening, Friday day and evening, and Saturday mornings. Sundays will not be available for volunteering as this is the day we hope to minimine our own workload.
If you have any questions about Flower Club, please email us at schoolhousefarmladner@gmail.com, otherwise click on “Add to Cart” below to purchase your Flower Club membership today.
We are currently offering 30 Farm Club memberships. If there are no spots currently available, please email us at schoolhousefarmladner@gmail.com to be added to our Farm Club waitlist, as we may open additional spots if there is demand for it in our community.
